Free trial

Every new SigSentry organization gets a 14-day Pro trial — full features, no card required, no automatic charge

When you create a new SigSentry organization, you start on a 14-day free Pro trial. No credit card, no commitment. You get all the Pro features and quota for two weeks so you can wire up integrations and run real analyses before deciding what plan fits.

What's included

Full Pro features

AI-polished postmortems, similar incidents lookup, chat and support desk integrations — same as a paid Pro plan.

Pro quota

500 analyses, 5 projects, 10 team members, and the rest of the Pro limits for 14 days.

No payment method needed

You don't enter card details to start. Trials never auto-charge.

Real environment

The trial runs in a real production tenant — anything you build during the trial sticks around if you subscribe.

What happens at the end of the trial

Two weeks after signup, the trial ends. The dashboard prompts you to pick a plan and complete checkout. You have three options:

ChoiceOutcome
Subscribe to Pro (or any other paid plan)Keep going without interruption — see Upgrading
Do nothingYour organization moves to a read-only trial expired state until billing is set up
Switch to StarterManually downgrade — your data stays, but you'll lose Pro-only features

While in the trial-expired state:

  • Existing data, projects, rules, and integrations are preserved
  • Analyses stop running until a plan is selected
  • You can still log in, browse history, and configure billing

You won't be charged at the end of the trial unless you actively choose a plan and complete checkout. There is no auto-billing on trial expiry.

Trial extensions

Need a few more days? Email support@sigsentry.com with a short note about why and we'll usually extend the trial. Common reasons we extend automatically:

  • Mid-integration with a log source that needs IT approval
  • Waiting on a vendor (Slack workspace admin, IAM access, etc.)
  • Holiday / time-off blocking team review

Data retention if the trial expires unpaid

If you don't subscribe and your org sits in the trial-expired state:

  • For 30 days, your data is preserved and you can subscribe to resume right where you left off
  • After 30 days, the organization and its data are scheduled for deletion

This is the same retention window that applies after a cancellation.

If you intend to come back later, subscribe (even to Starter) before the 30-day grace period ends. After deletion, projects, rules, and historical analyses cannot be restored.
