Plans & quotas

SigSentry has four plan tiers. Each has its own quotas (analyses, projects, team members, integrations) and feature gates.

For current prices, see the pricing page. For upgrade flow and overage details, see Billing & Subscriptions.

How quotas are enforced

When you create a resource (analysis, project, log source, etc.):

  1. The API checks your current count vs. plan limit
  2. If you're under, the request succeeds
  3. If you're at or over the limit, the API returns 403 QUOTA_EXCEEDED with details

For analyses, exceeding the monthly quota also opens the overage flow: opt in to overage on the billing page and additional analyses proceed at the per-analysis overage rate.

Overage

Overage is opt-in per billing cycle. When you turn it on:

  • Analyses beyond your quota proceed at the configured overage rate
  • The current cycle's overage count is shown on the billing page
  • At the end of the cycle, overage is charged via your saved payment method authorization

Overage is priced higher than the per-analysis cost of the next tier up, so consistently relying on overage is a signal that an upgrade will be cheaper. For current overage rates, see the pricing page.

Trial

New signups get a 14-day Pro trial automatically. Full Pro features, no card required. After 14 days the account either subscribes or moves to a read-only "trial expired" state until billing is set up.

Downgrades and resource preservation

When you downgrade plans:

  • Existing resources above the new plan's limit are grandfathered — nothing is deleted
  • New resource creation is blocked until you're under the new limit
  • Plan change takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Until then, you keep the old plan's features

See Downgrading.
