Create a new organization or accept an invitation to join an existing one
Sign up
There are two flows for creating a SigSentry account: Create a new organization (you're the first user from your company) or Accept an invitation (a teammate has invited you to join an existing organization).
Create a new organization
Use this flow if your organization isn't on SigSentry yet. Visit dashboard.sigsentry.com/signup and complete three steps:
Step 1 — Account
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name | Your full name; shown on your profile |
| Used for sign-in and team invitations | |
| Password | Minimum 8 characters |
Step 2 — Company
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Company name | Becomes your organization name |
| Company size | 1–10, 11–50, 51–200, 201–1,000, 1,000+ |
| Industry | SaaS / Software, Fintech, E-commerce, Healthcare, etc. |
| Job title | Optional |
Step 3 — Usage
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Log sources you use | Multi-select: CloudWatch, Datadog, Elastic / OpenSearch, Loki, Splunk, GCP Cloud Logging, or Other |
| How did you hear about us? | Optional |
What happens next
When you finish step 3:
- Your organization is created
- A default project is created inside it
- A 14-day Pro trial starts automatically — full Pro features, no card required
- You're signed in as owner of the organization (the only role that can delete projects or change billing)
You're then dropped into the dashboard. The first thing to do is set up at least one log source, otherwise analyses have nothing to read.
Selecting a plan during signup
If you arrive at signup with a ?plan=pro (or ?plan=starter,
business) query parameter — for example by clicking a pricing CTA on
the marketing site — your intended plan is remembered through the trial.
When the trial expires, you'll be prompted to confirm and pay for that
plan.
Accept an invitation
Use this flow when a teammate has invited you. You'll receive an email
with a unique link that includes an invite token. Click it to land on a
signup page that's already pre-filled with:
- Email — locked to the invited address
- Role — locked to whatever role the inviter chose (admin, member, or viewer)
You only need to:
- Confirm your name
- Set a password (minimum 8 characters)
- Submit
You're added to the existing organization with the assigned role and signed in. No new organization is created.
Invitation expiration
Invitations expire after 7 days. If yours has expired, ask the team admin to resend it from the Team page.
Roles you can be assigned
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything; only one per organization; cannot be invited (set when the organization is created) |
| Admin | Manage team, configure projects and integrations, run analyses |
| Member | Run analyses, configure project settings, see audit log |
| Viewer | Read-only — see analyses and configuration but cannot change anything |
For a full permission matrix, see Roles & permissions.
